The End of January!

It seems that the last 3 months of 2008 I was blogging daily, and so much was going on. Enter 2009, and the Hogan's are boring! Man I suck at blogging, maybe doing it once a week. So I guess my biggest goal for 2009 is to not be boring anymore, or plan more parties and stuff!

Our activities the last week of January included.....
Jack and his new hobby of stealing Paige's crafts and trying them for himself!

More sleeping together!

Ladies night out for Chel's birthday!

We painted Jack's room....finally! Still waiting for furniture to be delivered!

And finally.....meeting up with old friends. Caiser's 2 best friends from the good ole days of High School (The 3 Amigo's). Both live out of state, so a rare occurrence for all of us to get together. So fun to catch up, and so crazy that we have 10 kids all together....we miss you guys!

Ellie's New Do....

Ellie has been bugging, nagging, begging me to let her cut her hair. I say no, it's too hard to do short, she then goes to her dad and asks. He then tells her 'sure'......and I then tell him 'oh good, you can fix it every day' .....and then he tells her ' oh, maybe mom should decide'! Sucka....he's slow to learn, but getting there!

But she broke me! And I think she looks Beautiful, short hair, long hair, any hair......

Pizza & Gymnastics!

Tonight we decided to do something a little different, well sorta......we started out with something not so different, some Rock Creek Pizza. But then we went to the University of Utah gymnastics meet. It was very fun, very crowded, and very foggy.....and the U of U team was great! I thought the girls would really like it, but was concerned about Jack. He, however, was the best.....just sat there wide-eyed, soaking it all in! The girls thought we had come to the meet just so they could eat ice cream, cotton candy, and crap! No, really they were great, and it was fun to do something different!

So I suck.....Whatever!

I am totally admitting it, I suck at blogging lately, these are the reason's why......my kids have been home with me since December 23rd!! That's the only reason!

Our last week and a half have brought us many adventures, however I documented none of them with pictures.
Here's what we did.....where we ate.......things we said:

1. Kids held FHE....very cute, always very funny!

2. Girls went to Marv Jensen off track club.

3. Chick-fil-A

4. Jack told me not to watch him when he goes to the bathroom, I asked him why, he said because you are ugly....awesome!

5. Saw Bride Wars with girlfriends......way cute movie, great company!

6. Went to St.George- yea!

7. Took the kids to the indoor pool in Santa Clara.

8. Saved Miranda (friend's 1 year old daughter) from drowning......I was fully clothed!

11. Outlet shopping......sucked, nothing good!

12. Chuck-a-rama.....kids thought they had died & gone to Heaven!

14. Came home to a clean house (thanks Steph....love you)!

16. Bought Paige training bra's.....am I that old?

17. Mother-in-law watched kids.....bless her!

Our Week in Review!

Well.....I've survived, one off track week down, 2 more to go....wish me luck! Here our some of our activities this week.

All 3 kids have to sleep together.....seems quite comfy/cozy!

Paige & Ellie went to Marv Jensen's 'off track club'.

Jack, mom, and I had some yummy lunch at Archibald's.

My cute husband put in a ceiling fan for his parents.

The kids and I hung out for 4 hours as they worked on the fan.

Jack's cool hair, thanks to headphones while watching a movie in the car.

Cousin's Evan & Preston each had a birthday, so we partied it up with them at The Pizza Factory! Yummy pizza, way yummy cake, great company, and stupid games that spit out pointless tickets that you exchange for Shi*! But a lot of fun! Thanks Phil & Alaina!

Twister fun!

And finally, a cute family picture before leaving for my cousin Eric's mission farewell.

A fun-filled week......even though they drive me crazy, love these kids of mine!

Goodbye Good Friend!

Today was a sad day, a day I had to say goodbye to my good friend........my mini-van! She's been a good friend, and a great van for the past 4 years. We cleaned her, sat in her, and said our goodbye's, and a new family came to take her.

But alas it is time to bring a new friend into the family as the van has served her purpose, and I am ready for new adventures in my new SUV (Infiniti QX56).........however, she is stuck in WA, and cannot get to me, because of the stinking snow! So I wait, without any vehicle, stuck in my house with my 3 lovely children who will be off track for the next 3 weeks. Oh how happy I am about that!

2009.....bring it!

New Year's Eve was perfect.....good friends, good food, great entertainment! Since I am oh so smart, I made reservations for dinner this year, and nothing makes me happier than walking into a crowded restaurant, giving them my name, and being seated while everyone else who's been there awhile looks at us with anger! We hit Goodwood for dinner, Frogurt for some dessert, and then partied hard w/the kids at our house with some serious Rock Band!

Jack didn't make it, and was sound asleep when the ball dropped, but the girls were able to throw their confetti they've been making for months now. I told them to go scream and dance and throw the confetti in the road. Well, they made it to the driveway.....and now we have colorful snow. Happy New Year!
