Ellie's Last Day of School!

Today was Ellie's last day of kindergarten, I can't believe it! She has grown up so much this past year, and learned to do so many new things. I'm excited for her to start 1st grade, and she is too.

1st day of Kindergarten!

Last day of Kindergarten!

After comparing the 2 pictures, we've determined the biggest change is the many missing teeth in the later picture!

Grandma & Grandpa Came Home!

Finally, grandma & grandpa are home. My parents have been traveling in Europe for the past month, & the kids have sure missed them, me too! We are all so glad that they are home safe and had a wonderful time!

New Camera Lens!

As many of you know I have an amazing husband, who on occasion has a few mental issues, this is what I like to call them. I love these 'issues' of his because they usually include him buying me whatever it is that I mention I might want. While spending time with the Jamieson's this past weekend, I was able to pick Heidi's brain about her photography, and more specifically her camera & lens. She suggested a lens with a lower aperture (for those of you not lens savvy, this means it blurs most of the background), those of you who have seen how great Heidi's pictures are, know that she knows what she's talking about. Anyway, after mentioning to Caiser that I might be interested in this type of lens, you guessed it, he bought it for me that day. So, to my wonderful husband, who I love so much, thank you for all my surprises & for giving me everything! And for all of you reading this, here are a few pictures I took with our new lens.

Give me a Break Tooth Fairy!

The tooth fairy seems to love my house! The past couple of months she seems to have visited at least 5 times, that fairy must be rich!! This week brought two more visits, Paige lost one of her back molars thanks to chicken nuggets at Chik-fil-A. Ellie lost her front tooth thanks to Coco Puffs for breakfast. Hopefully we will give that poor fairy a rest for a while!

Let the birthday celebrations continue......yeah! I said before that I love my birthday, and the longer I can drag out the celebrating, the better! Kara (my sister) called today and sang me a song about wanting to go to lunch with me, how could I resist? So here are some lovely pictures of us eating an awesome lunch at Goodwood.....thanks Kara! Happy Birthday to Me!

Today was a great day! I was able to spend my birthday with my family, there's no better present! Caiser and I went to lunch and then to the movie 'Get Smart', cute movie, and fun date with my lover! We then picked up the kids & my mother-in-law and ate dinner at Chik-fil-A. Perfect birthday dinner!

I'm 32 now, and I think its going to be a good age for me.....I already feel more mature! Thank you to all my wonderful friends and family for all the calls and texts today.....I loved them all! Its so fun to feel so popular for a day, I wish my birthday was everyday!

Getaway to Midway!

This past weekend we headed to Midway. It started on Wed. with Caiser and a bunch of guys going up to golf, eat, play cards, & then golf some more. Me & the kids drove up Thurs. w/Heidi & her kids to join Caiser & Jeff for some good times. It was a very fun weekend....and surprisingly went smoothly, even with 6 kids!

Thursday night we drove into Park City and rode the Alpine Coaster. For those of you who haven't been there in a while, it is the latest addition. You ride in a sled similar to the slide, however you are hooked onto the track, so no chance of flying off the slide (and we know many of you out there have)! We all took turns going, and it was very fun, and very fast. Of course Heidi being the tough girl, told me not to break at all, unless I was a baby. So Ellie and I started down the coaster, and on the first turn, I was a baby! That sucker moves FAST! But very fun! 20 minutes later & $80 later the kids were bored and ready to do it again, instead we took some fun pictures, and then went to dinner.

Please be aware that I've posted about 20 pictures below, you can look or not, I couldn't bring myself to only show a couple, because I think they are all so fun. Also, I've been introduced to blurb.com (thanks Tori) who will print your blog into a book, and that makes me want to include all the pictures I ever take. So you've received fare warning of what is to come, like I said.....take it or leave it!

Friday we all hit the pool, the boys golfed, and Heidi and I managed to have all 6 kids nap at the same time. We took advantage and napped ourselves for 2 hours, I know, we are amazing!

Sadly, on Saturday the Jamieson's left for home, but we stayed and partied one more day. We hit the pool again, went and ate dinner in Park City (with a stop at Rocky Mountain Chocolate, of course), and then went to the park to play. We had the park all to ourselves, with perfect overcast weather, so we stayed a while, & of course took more pictures!

What a great weekend spent with great friends and my wonderful family!

So Many Wonderful Fathers in my life!

Happy Fathers Day....well a couple days late! We had a wonderful day, with a wonderful father and husband! But everyday is wonderful with Caiser! So grateful am I for my 'lover'!

You'll notice Caiser's awesome tie.....this was Ellie's gift to him, which he proudly displayed for all while wearing it to church!

Thanks babe for all you do for us! You know how much I appreciate your love and support in all I do, but I especially appreciate your kindness and understanding of me and all my problems! You are my everything!

We finished off the day with a BBQ w/Caiser's family!

And now a Happy Father's Day to my dad! Thank you for being the greatest father, grandfather, & friend! You have been the most amazing example to me throughout my life, and I love & appreciate you so much! Thank you for all that you do for us!

And to my father-in-law......thank you first for my wonderful husband, and second for being such a wonderful father & grandfather. I appreciate all that you do for us & I love you!
