Our New Hobbies...

We have taken on some new hobbies at the Hogan house. Some good, some crazy, some dangerous, but all very fun.

I have always wanted a beach cruiser, so my lover ordered me up a pink one, which I love. Now I just need a basket and a bell!

Paige started dance, she is so excited and so cute! She came home and showed me all the moves she learned, and can't wait to go next week!

Miss Ellie also started dance, and when I picked her up after the first lesson she said 'Mom, my dance class is AMAZING'.

As for Jack, well...his new hobby is to never have clothes on. When we come home he will take off his shirt, and sometimes more because: 'his tummy hurts', 'he's sweaty', or 'it's too hot'! Whatever....as long as he's happy!

Parents of the Year!!

The girls are always asking me to come eat lunch with them at school. So being the totally awesome mom that I am, I told them I would grab them some Panda (sick, but what they wanted), and come eat with them. Lucky us, Cais had no lunch plans & came to join us! We think we were awesome parents....even if it was just for this one day (or 35 minutes)!

Midway Getaway!

We decided we needed an 'adults only' weekend. So off we went to Midway with 4 other couples, whom we love so much!

We stopped in Park City, had some dinner, hit the Coaster, and of course Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory!

Wish I had a picture of all the boys going to bed at 11pm....babies! They didn't realize us girls were late night partiers when in Midway!

Saturday the boys went golfing/biking, so the plan was for us girls to shop/swim. Instead we all slept in til 10:00, and then sat around chit chatting til 1. Wendy & Kimball were supposed to join us this weekend, but due to some stomach issues, they were out! Didn't stop Wendy from coming up Saturday morning and hanging with us, and then lunch at the Homestead!

Saturday night we went back to Park City to venture down the slide this time, dinner, and the the outlets!

Such a fun weekend! Thanks to the babysitters, and to our wonderful friends!

Oh the Days of Summer.....

The past few weeks have been nice, lazy, fun-filled summer days and nights.

We swam many times...

Back to School night, met the girls teachers and saw their classrooms...

Relay for Life! Many of us in our neighborhood participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. It was held at Riverton High School, started at 7:00pm, and teams walked, partied, ate, ran, danced all night. We lasted until midnight, cause boy did it get cold! Next year we'll bring our tent! The kids loved it, they all participated, Jack & Paige ran laps over and over, and Ellie & Callie walked/ran 4 miles! What an awesome event, I can't wait til next year!

And of course my 'lover' got his badminton all set up, and had the boys over to play. Us girls watched, and the kids ran wild. However, Kelly and I kicked some trash (too bad no pictures of us smoking Mitch & Andrew)! Next time we'll document our awesome plays!!
