First Day of School...Wow!

They're Back....to school that is. A quick 6 week summer & shabaaam, back to the grind for the girls! They were both excited to go back, see friends, and meet their teachers. And after a shopping extravaganza with grandma Elaine, they were

'looking good' for the first day of school!

Ellie started 2nd grade, her teacher is Miss. Oakley!

Paige started 4th grade, her teacher is Miss. Anderson!

Jack didn't start school today, but told me he wanted his picture taken too! I obliged!

Why do these kids of mine keep getting older? The days, weeks, months, & years are flying by way too fast! I am always so excited for the adventures that lie ahead, but I would also like to freeze time & not let the kids get older! I am so blessed to have these kids! And I am so excited for the girls, and this new school year, it's gonna be a great one!

24th of July.....Partaaaaay!

Since this was our 2nd year to hold a BBQ partaaaay on the 24th, I figure I can call it a 'tradition' now. So partaaaay it up we did....

The awesome rocks and swing that Caiser spent ALL DAY putting together! Looks so good, and is so fun to hang out and swing on!

The saweeeet fireworks show...and the awesome men (Cais & Craig) who burned their fingers off all for our entertainment. Please also take note of the way cool Christmas lights still hanging on our home, they were a bonus feature for the fireworks show!

Cowabunga Bay!!

Being the totally awesome parents that we are....we thought we'd try out the new Cowabunga Bay water park before the girls start school next week. $70 later (that's with Jack getting in free), we had 4 hours of fun, if that's what you want to call it! First let me say, I'm a big fan of water parks....however, I am NOT a fan of having buckets of cold water dumped on me while in line and while going down the slides, nor am I a fan of cold water being sprayed on me with a hose or a gun! All of this being done by obnoxious kids who's asses I would have enjoyed kicking. I know, it's a water park....but still, not fun to be sprayed non-stop! But the kids had fun & that's what matters! Now we've done it, will we do it again? NO!!

Summer Fun....

We've been busy bee's this summer, packing in all sorts of fun & good times. Way too many pictures, what's new, so here goes....

Crazy Cow day at Chick...

'Father of the year' bought a tent, I know, a freaking tent. The kids were so excited....and being the HUGE campers that we are, we pitched it in the backyard & spent the night!

I went to girls camp (which will be a blog post all of it's own....yes, me, in a tent)...the kids spent a day each w/Alaina & Kara, having all sorts of fun. Swimming, eating, parks, lakes....they didn't miss me at all! Thanks girlie's, you are the best!!
