An Afternoon at the Splash Park!

Nothing like spending quality time with girlfriends and our 15 kids at the splash park! That's even with 4 at school! Lucky me, I only have Jack with me in the day, so I just sit back, drink my cherry coke, and enjoy.....while they all chase their kids! It works out perfect for me! Honestly, what would I do without these fun outings? I am so grateful for my friends!

Getting Ready for School!

I am happy to report, and a bit surprised....that miss Ellie has made a wonderful transition to school 'all day'! I was worried because that girl is a sleeper, and if I let her would and could sleep until noon. But every morning she pops up out of bed and is ready to go. I have to laugh though, because her eyes are always red and tired, and when I'm fixing her hair she has trouble keeping her eyes open. She's a trooper, and I am so happy they both enjoy school. Here are some pictures before they left for school, and of course Jack has to get in on the action, and even managed a lovely pose for me!

Family Night Swimming!

Mom & dad called to come on over for some swimming and pizza..........how can we refuse?? My poor dad usually doesn't do much swimming, but more holding, playing, and being splashed on! But I guess that's what grandpa's are for!
Grandpa and his boys!

Paige scares me in this picture.....BAD! She's possessed!

And finally mom, the clean up crew!

Pizza & The Park!

With the boys still gone on their golf trip, Kelly and I decided to take advantage of the overcast weather and head to the park with some pizza. It was perfect, we sat and relaxed (well I did, while Kelly ran around after Chase), and the kids released a lot of energy for about 3 hours!

Salt Lake County Fair!

Every year my mom and I head to the Salt Lake County Fair, and every year we ask ourselves afterwords.....why? And yet, we go again the next year, I guess we'll never learn! Caiser and the 'boyz' went to Mesquite for their "Swing of Death" golf trip, so mom and I decided to go to the fair again, because obviously we love to sweat to death, be hounded by sales people inside the tent, and I cannot get enough of the sexy carnival workers....oooh baby!! There's just something about men with missing teeth and a lot of tattoos!
The kids riding the ponies!

The smelly animals!

The awesome rides which I love paying for (well grandma paid for), cause they are so clean and safe!

Mom and I could not stop laughing at Jack on the swings, because he's so tall he can go on them, even though he's only 2 years old. We thought for sure he was going to fall out or puke, but he loved it.....I know, mother of the year for me!

Check me out......Pocahantas or Megara??

Check me out! I was originally Pocahantas, but then I took the test again and was Megara! I can't decide who I am more like cause I love nature, I love to see what is 'just around the river bend', & I love the 'colors of the wind'! But I know I have an attitude & I like to mislead people! Let me know who you think I am & please share who you are!

Free-spirited and wise. You have a strong passionate spirit that touches and changes all who know you. The wisdom and common sense that you have is really what guides you through life. Even so, you also have a very playful side that loves adventure and excitement.

You Are Megara!

Charming and witty. You are always the first person to come up with a wisecrack. Sure, you have an attitude, but that's why people love you. You keep them on their toes. Sometimes you can be misleading, but always end up doing the right thing for the people you love.

Breaking Dawn & Silly Girls!!

I know, I know..... I will totally admit to being one of the idiots to go get the new Breaking Dawn book at midnight! However, I'm not a total loser, I didn't go to the 'before parties', just went right at midnight to get my book. The 'girls' and I originally put our books on hold at Barnes & Noble at Jordan Landing. I was in the area earlier in the day and decided to get a wristband, which gives you a # for your place in line to buy the book. Well...... my wristband # was 626, are you kidding me? I wasn't aware that silly women slept out and were at the store at 6am to get the stupid wristbands. So the 'girls' and I had a powwow, and decided we would try our local Walmart for a book at midnight, and if they were sold out we would then head to Barnes & Noble & hopefully have our books by 3am, based on our awesome #626 place in line. But lucky us, Walmart had plenty, and thanks to Richelle's 'mad shopping skills' we were the first 7 in line (at one of the 50 registers anyway)! We had our books bought & a McDonald's coke in hand by 12:06am. It was sooooo fun, and I'm so glad we joined the other idiots out there for a fun filled night/early morning outing! And I love all my 'silly girlfriends'!

1st grade....here comes Ellie!

And off to 1st grade she goes! Ellie is not one to be scared or nervous with new adventures, but usually irritated or put out.....not today, she was anxious and excited to go, which made me the feel the same! So we did it all over again, not the pancake breakfast, but Trix cereal was just as good.

Then pictures, and more pictures, and then off to the school for final pictures! I can't believe she's in school all day, crazy, but exciting! She's been so fun to have at home with me & Jack, and I will miss her, but I'm excited for this year of school and all that she will be learning!

Waiting for the bus!
