Miss Paige...10!!

I think I'm getting old...

Paige turned 10 today, WOW!

Where do I begin....Paige has always been an angel!

Paige teaches me daily, about the person/mother/friend I want to be. She is so sensitive and so aware of every one's feelings. She wants to make everyone feel loved, and she does! Paige is so polite, and acts well above her age! She is the best big sister, and takes care of, and loves her brother and sister. Paige is one-of-a-kind!

We love you Paige!!

It's become a tradition to go have lunch w/the girls at school on their birthday's...but we like to act like it's a surprise. Hopefully they will always think it's fun!

After school the REAL partying began...

Presents...

And then off to Rock Creek Pizza for dinner...

Finishing off the night with some ice skating...after tying 7 pairs of ice skates, taking pictures, and getting ready to hit the ice...the girls all told me their ankles were already sore! But they were excited, and gave me the 'thumbs up'!

They were troupers! Despite a lot of falling, blisters, cold hands, and sore ankles....I almost had to physically remove them from the ice! What great friends!

Happy Birthday Paige! Thanks for being you!

Jack turns 4!!

Where does the time go??

Today we celebrated Jack turning 4, I think it is safe to say that he is no longer 'a baby'! However, I believe it is my right as his mother to still call him my baby boy!

Jack is a BLESSING and a JOY to have in our family. He makes us laugh every day, whether it be the silly things he says, the crazy faces he makes, or the way he acts...we love it! There is never a dull moment with Jack around!

Jack's favorite things right now are...

Trains, trains, and more trains

Bikes

Cars

Talking about the temples

Michael Jackson video's and songs

His cousin Evan

Family

Toast

Sponge Bob

Swords

Chick-fil-A

From the moment he was born, Jack has been an easy-going, fun-loving, care-free little boy. I love this about him! He makes me calm, he makes me want to be more relaxed...he makes me happy! I love my baby boy!!

Before church, we gave Jack his present...

A 'big boy' bike, he was so excited!

Later we had ALL of our family (even my parents, who called from Japan to chat with everyone, and wish Jack a happy birthday) over for dinner and fun!

Presents...

Presents for Paige too, with her birthday being in 3 days, we celebrated both...

Happy Birthday Jack!!

I think 'age 4' is going to be a great year!

Jack's Birthday Partaaaay!

Jack wanted to celebrate his birthday with his 2 favorite people, his cousins Evan & Stone. So they partied hard...first, some mini-golf.

They were awesome golfers...we were thankful they played a hole ahead of us the entire time, and also thankful that there was no water in the 'lake area', as we would have been swimming quite a bit to find balls.

We then were off for some lunch...'Jack said he didn't care where we went, as long as it had a big slide'. We obliged!

As always, Caiser thought it was way fun.

Then we came home for some presents, donuts, and good play time.

Oh Jack...

Last week while listening to general conference, more specifically the tabernacle choir. I had a conversation with Jack that went like this....

Jack: Mom, Michael Jackson sings with them, right?
Me: No Jack, he is dead, and he never sang with them.
Jack: Oh ya, how did he die?
Me: His heart stopped working while he was sleeping.
Jack: Why did he sleep?
Me: We all sleep Jack.
Jack: Will he come back alive?
Me: Nope.
Caiser: Well that's not true babe...
Me: Shut-up Caiser, we don't need a Resurrection lesson about Michael Jackson right now.
Jack: Well...when Michael Jackson comes back alive, I'm sure he will sing with these guys again (tabernacle choir)!

I am 'mother of the year' when it comes to teaching my children!
