Where to Start.....

I won't complain again about not taking many pictures.....I've taken way too many this past week, and then of course been a slacker at posting them. So here goes, our past week....

When the kids and I got home from St.George, guess what was parked in the garage?

(Don't freak out, I knew he was getting it!)

Of course the weather was FREEZING, but the kids still wanted a ride....

Well just the girls wanted rides, Jack said he only likes riding yellow motorcycles.......whatever that means, he's never even been on a motorcycle!

It was my grandma's birthday.....so a bunch of cousins, aunts, ect. got together for lunch!

GNO (Girls Night Out)!! Wendy's birthday.....dinner at Blue Fish (at the District) and some of us hit the movie 'Duplicity' after. Very fun night!

Jack will be playing/coloring/yelling one minute, asleep the next!

We finished painting Jack's room & organized his new furniture. Now I need to decorate, and find matching 'steps' so he can climb onto his bed. I just lift him, and then he calls for me when he wakes up.....makes me laugh!

Ellie & grandma Elaine spent the afternoon shopping, eating, more shopping, and hitting the Hannah Montana movie.....for Ellie's birthday (coming up this Friday, the 17th).

Some Easter egg coloring.....

The Easter bunny made a visit Sunday morning.......

Before church......new Easter clothes!

We had Caiser's side over for Easter dinner.....more candy, toys, and good company!

A great week.....

Day 3 St.George Adventures!

Today was BEAUTIFUL! After doing some more sleeping in, we ventured out into the loveliness, called sunshine! First....a lunch stop at Poncho & Lefty's (the girls and I think this is the best Mexican around)!

Second.....a quick stop at some of the geriatric shops of St.George, Cold Water Creek & Chico's. I wish I had brought my camera in, so many 'older' women all going crazy over the cute clothes....yikes! Mom did manage to find some very cute/non geriatric clothing items! The kids and I waited outside in the sunshine once we had seen enough 'grandma's' as Jack would say!

Our next plan was to hit the movies.....Jack's been driving us crazy since the minute we left our house to go see 'popcorn movies'. But with the wonderful weather, we decided we wanted to do an outdoor activity......so a little miniature golfing was chosen! Fiesta Fun was the happening spot! It was so warm, we were actually too hot, can you even imagine being too hot in Salt Lake today?

We then cooled off with some drinks, some games & Golden Spoon.....a perfect day!

And now our adventures will come to an end, as we head home tomorrow! Salt Lake is sending the ugly weather down here, so we figure we'll come home to see our dad and grandpa!

And to the beautiful sunshine.....Oh how we will all miss you!

Day 2 St.George Adventures!

Yesterday we all slept in.....some of us til 9:30, it was GREAT! We headed to the indoor pool in the afternoon, and stayed for as long as the kids could handle the chlorine (about an hour). Then hit one of our favorite dinner spots....the pasta factory & finished the day off with the park. Wonderful weather....we might stay awhile!

Day 1 St.George Adventures!

Tuesday afternoon the kids and I, along with my mom, headed for sunny St.George! I am so sick of being cold, and with the girls being off track, we decided St.George was the perfect remedy. Lucky for me, my mom was happy to journey with us. We stopped for lunch in American Fork to meet Caiser, but he was held up in a meeting....so we met him at a freeway exit to say goodbye.

And oh how I'm going to miss this......

We arrived safe and sound.....hit walmart for some food, and dairy queen for some treats!

Breakfast w/Paige!

Because today is the last day 'on track' for Paige and her class, her teacher's held a special breakfast. The kids have the opportunity to earn 'class money' all year, and usually spend the money on different items their teachers supply, toys, markers, candy, ect. Instead of the toys, they decided to let the kids use their money to invite guests to this breakfast. Paige invited me, Kara, and Jack (I know, not Ellie....sisters, gotta love em)! Caiser was invited too, but had a meeting he couldn't get out of. Anyway....it was very cute, very yum, and sweet of Paige to use her money to invite & feed us! The Easter bunny also made a quick visit! A very cute idea, Paige has wonderful teachers! And a great Aunt Kara too!
