Jack the Barber!

Guess what Jack did today....Yup, played a little barber shop on himself! I found him playing in the sink with the water on. When I asked him what he was doing, he said 'nothing'. And then Caiser noticed his hair...or lack of, and I discovered the 'nothing' he was doing was really him trying to put the hair he had cut down the drain. I could only laugh, and thank heaven's he's a boy! When we explained to him that he is not allowed to play with scissors, or cut his hair, the tears started!

He got over the tears quickly, thought he looked cool, and was happy to pose with his new do!

4th of July Weekend!!

Our weekend started Thursday night with a birthday dinner for grandma Elaine at Cafe Rio'...yum!

After dinner we drove up to Midway to spend the weekend with family. The kids all watching a movie before bed that night.

Paige went boating w/Kurt & Kara and Phil & Alaina....Cais and I stayed back at the pool.

Hung out...

Caiser hacked down a tree....yes, there is an HOA. No, they don't trim it. Yes, they must have thought it was a bush. No, mom and dad never wanted him to hack it when they lived in the USA.

Played some serious Frisbee, kick-ball, and catch....

Caiser's family joined us on the 4th for a BBQ...

Sunday morning on the way home, we stopped for breakfast at Soldier Hollow Golf Course.

And with all the trains in Midway and Heber, Jack wanted his picture taken on one. Of course he was scared the whole time!

A great weekend! Missed mom & dad....still not used to them being gone! But so great to be with most of our family!
