Ellie's Christmas Program!

This year the first grade walked over to Stamp It Up to sing Christmas songs for the employee's. After many parents asked to go too, and were denied, they decided to do a little performance for us. It was SO cute, and they all knew the songs so well. It was fun watching Ellie sing her heart out, she was great!

Jack sang all the songs too, he should have joined them on stage!

Blight Family Christmas Party!

Every year we do the family party w/all of mom's siblings, but this year we included Sharon's family (grandma's sister). It was SO great to see everyone, 2nd cousins that I played with as a kid, their kids, and everyone all grown up. We had a special visitor from the North Pole, and way to many presents, thanks to grandma!

Sunday Dinner at Mom's.....oh Wait!

My mother, who I love dearly, does not enjoy cooking. When I think back on my childhood, I realize that most of our meals were at a restaurant, which was totally fine, we thought all families ate out 6 times a week! So when it was mom's turn to have us for Sunday dinner this month, it was no surprise to me that she had made reservations at Marie Calendar's......which was great! And to make it even better, my siblings were not able to make it, so my family partied it up w/grandma, grandpa and Marie! Love you mom!

Jack's Pre-school Christmas Program!

Oh the joys of 3 year olds! Tonight was Jack's pre-school program.....20 minutes of great entertainment/Christmas songs! Jack actually sang most of the songs and smiled the whole time. He was only distracted a few times by the kid who wanted to climb the Christmas tree next to him, the girl who pulled her dress up and over her head, and the boy who was slithering around like a snake on the floor. Other than that, he was way tuned in! And way cute I might add!

Margetts Family Christmas Party!

Our annual Margetts Christmas Party was held at our home this year. We don't get together as often as I wish, grandma Audrey was our 'glue'....but we try. Crazy/good times were had by all!
